Pet Friendly Hotel in Playa del Carmen

Fortunately, we, at Xperience Hotels are sympathetic and understand that pets are important members of the family, and that’s why we offer pet-friendly accommodation in Playa del Carmen that go beyond the standard ‘pets allowed’ signage. Hacienda Paradise is one of Playa del Carmen’s most pet friendly hotels. Our hotel will have you and your pet feeling inspired right at check in (fee charge per pet per night 15 U$D):

Hacienda Paradise reserves the right to refuse admittance to any pet guest for any reason, at any time who lacks proof of vaccinations, display signs of untreated or potentially contagious conditions, demonstrate aggressive behavior or who fails our standard temperament policies. When registering at the front desk, the pet owner agrees to be responsible for any damage or injury caused by the pet, and to absolve the hotel staff of any liability if the pet or another guest is injured.


Dog Holiday

This is a dog care service in a “cage-free” environment designed for dogs that are social with other dogs in a relaxed and familiar atmosphere, managed by true pet lovers. Dog Holiday provides an outlet to expend excess energy, socialize, exercise and remain active. At Dog Holiday there is never a dull moment and our schedule is packed with fun and activities. Supervisors ensure safe play so dog owners can have peace-of-mind knowing they can go to an archaeological site visit or a romantic dinner without compromising the care of their best friend.

 

Hours

Dog Holiday is open from Monday - Friday. 7:00am - 10:00am, 4:00pm - 8:00pm
Saturday and Sundays by appointment. Dogs not picked up by closing time will be considered overnight guests and charged the standard boarding rate for that evening.

 

Fees
Day care small breeds (Up to 5 Kg) U$D15 (including shuttle service from/to hotel).

Day care medium Breeds (Up to 10 kg) U$D18 (including shuttle service from/to hotel).

Enquire about our special rates for minimum 7 days and onwards.

Our daily rate includes walking, brushing, outdoor-fun under our watchful eyes and plenty of personal attention.

Dog Holiday is a day camp activity limited in size, therefore clients are encouraged to make reservations in advance to avoid disappointment. We request 24-hour notification for cancellations in order to properly staff a safe play environment.

 

Pet Policies

PET QUALIFICATIONS AND GENERAL RULES

We welcome quiet, non-aggressive pets that are housebroken, and well behaved as to not disturb other guests. All pet guests must be completely free of fleas and ticks, be clean, well groomed and up to date on shots and vaccinations. Must not exceed 10 Kg. of weight (approx 20 lbs). Pets must wear an identification collar and leash at all times, with the exception of when the pet is inside the guestroom where they cannot be left unattended.

 

PET RULES IN THE ROOM

All pets must sleep in their carriers, or a pet bed (provided). Pets are not allowed on beds or furniture. Under no circumstances may a guest pet be bathed in the guest room bathrooms (dry shampoo provided). Please check with the reception for our pet grooming service at “Dog Holiday” should your pet require bathing.

Guests must hang the precaution sign “Pets inside” outside on the doorknob indicating to the staff personnel the presence of pets inside the guestrooms.

Arrangements must be made with housekeeping to service room when owner is out and pet is present.

 

PET RULES OUTSIDE THE ROOM

Dogs must always be on a leash when outside the room and on the premises of the hotel. Guests must supervise their pets while on the patio of the guestrooms and must never be left alone. No food, utensils or items belonging to the pet are permitted in the patio/garden area. The City of Playa del Carmen does enforce a leash law in town, but at specific beach locations your dog only needs to be within voice command. When outside the room, cats must be in a carrier.

 

PET RULES IN OUR RESTAURANT

Admission of pets in our restaurant is limited to the reserved área outside of the main Palapa. Food bowls can be provided upon request.

 

PROPERTY GROUNDS / PET CLEANUP

The grounds and gardens of our Xperience Hotels are for the enjoyment of all of our guests, and we therefore request that, when possible, pets be walked off property for the purpose of relieving themselves. Guests accompanied by pets are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Please use the plastic bags provided (never use the Hotel’s towels or linen). Pets must be on a leash in all common areas and restaurant providing they will not cause disturbance to other guests.

 

PET DAMAGE

Guests are responsible for any harm or damages caused by the pet to the bed linens, property or any staff member. The room of pet guests is inspected after check out, with damages assessed and charged accordingly. Excessive damage may include charges for professional cleaning, rug replacement, and lost revenue charges while the room is out of service due to cleaning and repairs.
